I strongly believe that how a piece of writing is presented is as important as its content. If spelling, grammar and syntax are inaccurate, they distract from the power and message of the text.

Having started my career as a comedy writer and performer, I moved into script writing for CBeebies and Channel 5 (including Thomas and Friends, Zingzillas and Toby’s Travelling Circus).

More recently,  I have been working freelance, editing and proofreading for various contacts within the entertainment industry.
I am currently employed as a Reader for ViacomCBS.

I have attained a Distinction in Proofreading and Copy Editing with the Centre of Excellence, and completed a Proofreading and Copy Editing course with the Writers Bureau.
